Luminous is proud to have worked with the global development and engineering consultancy, Mott MacDonald, for many years. Following on from a series of conferences on sustainability and business, they asked Luminous to produce summary reports that looked fresh, drew attention to the vital issues of climate change and started a conversation.
The key was to demonstrate our client's expertise and challenge readers to prepare their businesses for climate change.

Starting a conversation
Aware that the topic is quite overwhelming, we opted to design bright, colourful reports with dynamic layouts. Packing them with arresting imagery and using infographics to help bring clarity to the more complex data in the report. Our design reflects Mott MacDonald’s energy and forward-thinking nature, communicates their expertise and challenged the reader to consider how their business will need to adapt.
Asking the right questions
We worked closely with the editor on the layout, copy and graphics so the reports are appealing to read. Each report is packed full of fascinating detail and information. In order to communicate Mott MacDonald’s expertise and solutions as clearly as possible we designed a combination of infographics, charts, pull quotes and facts alongside longer passages of text.
